Essential Oils

Oil Me Up!

Yes, just another thing this thinking mama does to improve her home!

Essential oils have been around FOREVER!!! In the Old and New Testament of the bible essential oils(EO’s) are spoken of and used. Which I have to say is pretty darn cool since they are still around today.

I figure, if they worked then, they work now!

I was introduced to DoTerra through another Brilliant Thinking Mama, back in 2012. It was love at first aroma, then love at topical use, then internal use(yup you can use them internally)! Now I use oils for everything from bumps and bruises to that good ol’ house cleaning!

Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, Frankincense and OnGuard tend to be the big ones we use around here.

Combining Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint help with our allergies (throw that good ol allergy medicine good-bye),

Lavender diffused makes for a calming environment!

Lemon in your water? Yes please! Plus helps when you have a cold!

Peppermint can be used for tummy aches, head aches, sore throats, cooking!

Frankincense helps with our boo boos.

On Guard is my cure-all! I spray that on the door handles, counters, its my cleaner and immune booster. We use it topically and internally. Doterra has these amazing cough drops that are wonderful!

These are just a few things I use my oils for.

In upcoming posts I will go over my own blends and “how to” use EO’s!
